WHY DANA MUST DIE - BY BOZ 23/6/99

Infuriating comes nowhere near describing a reaction to the sheer base nature of Irish people....... How an entire North West region can allow, let alone vote in a fucking poison dwarf is beyond comprehension.... but now, of course, one of our representative MEP’s is indeed Dana Rosemary Scallon - Defender of the faith - Upholder of the goblet of catholic froth - Invader of other peoples dignity - fucking scumbag.

Leading up to the June elections, our pet hate was the Greens, simply because we know personal things about them that we shouldn’t know, but the prospect of Dana being given any power whatsoever is a grim reminder of how fucking hick and inbred her supporting voters in the Connacht/Ulster area are. The general litter of bigwig grey suit politicians don’t perceive Dana as a threat (even though they are the reason a large percentage of people couldn’t be arsed voting).... and now that someone with actual policy is gaining support, there’ll be bandwagon hoppers, simply because these fuckers will do anything to maintain their coke habits.

As if it weren’t enough that this imp has ever entered politics in the first place, people are gormless enough to vote for her because they think she’ll make some sort of change..... and of course, the whole basis of Dana, Eurovision veteran, public figure, US Televangelist, ever returning to this country is to interfere with the people’s legal right to abortion, something which was put to the question and answered quite comprehensively by the people who live in this country, Not Dana. To be quite honest, I don’t know why this ignorant little itinerant Girl feels that she has any say in the matter, it’s really none of her fucking business what other people do with their lives..... in any case, abortion is pretty much in evidence regardless of it’s legal status..... Dana’s campaign of inconvenience will simply add a return ferry fare onto the cost of any abortive procedure. Dana herself claims that she is not the religious right, when in fact she is the dictionary definition of it.... her aim is to “Bring ethics, values and principles to Europe”.... my question is... how the fuck does she figure that none of those things already exist in any minds but those which are dogmatically pro-life. It’s like saying that because there is a difference of opinion on one matter, and we are not from a religious point of view, therefore we must be devoid of soul or principle or any capacity to make decisions in life for ourselves. It’s the biggest fucking insult... and all this coming from a eurovision winner..... FUCK HER.

I was recently witness to, and part of an argument that ensued with one of those Youth Defence virgins, who sought a signature for a petition calling for the release of one of their fuckwit protesters. He’d been arrested and prosecuted for continually protesting and disrupting business at the Mary Stopes Clinic (who operate legally) on Blessington Street. It didn’t take long to realise that even though this ugly girl was adamant that we hear her out, she wasn’t really interested in what we had to say for ourselves.... short of violence, I simply ended the one way system of a conversation by telling her that I thought Dana should go back to making records..... it was quite obvious that the shit this girl was spewing wasn’t even her own shit, just uneducated second hand rhetoric being pawned off as some sort of reactive tailor made opinion...... and she knew it.

Dana’s main thorn in REAL people’s sides is, of course, Money. Many newspapers reported around the time of the elections that although Dana was trying to play up the poor concerned independent, she had an incredibly impressive campaign office and a fluidly financed offensive. It’s quite clear, even to the greatest arsehole, that she’s being pumped with readies from religious right wing organisations in the states.

Dana can speak out as loudly as she wants against the legal status of abortion in various European countries, but from what we’re hearing, she’s saying nothing directly to the people who choose to get abortions for whatever personal reasons they have.... Something tells me she’s afraid of hearing some home truths from intelligent people who aren’t religious. In any case, Dana’s life has got to be pretty grim if she has to act as a public monkey for the religious right wing.

The unfortunate situation is that it’s 30 years since “All Kinds of Everything” and if she still hasn’t been brought to trial over her own violation of human rights, then there’s little chance that anyone’s gonna take her out from a rooftop any time soon. Our only hope is that if the “Marching Into Brussels” headlines are taken literally..... at least it’s gonna take the stumpy fuckhead a long long time to march there.
